JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome to the Education Administration!

With us, you have the opportunity to make a difference for our children and students. We are responsible for about 18,000 children and students and work every day to help them develop and achieve increased goal fulfillment. We want children to enter our activities as curious, creative one-year-olds and leave us as engaged, knowledgeable, and independent 19-20-year-olds.

Torparskolan is a K-6 school with an after-school program. We have about 350 students and 40 employees. The school has two parallel classes in grades K-6 and is located close to nature with access to a lovely schoolyard and outdoor environment. A large part of the school is newly built and fully renovated.

As an employee at Torparskolan, you will be part of various process groups where you follow and stimulate students' learning and personal development and help drive our school's development journey. You will develop, be challenged, and above all, be in a constant learning environment. Together, we build a safe learning environment and make each other better!

We are now looking for a teacher for the after-school program at 100%. Your task will be to plan, implement, and evaluate the activities together with the other teachers in the after-school program to create the best conditions for students' development. At Torparskolan, collaboration with other educators connected to the student groups is also important. This is to ensure a shared understanding in our operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree/certification with qualifications for teaching in after-school programs. We prefer that you have previous teaching experience.

You also have a conscious thought about your role as an educator and are a clear leader who works systematically based on applicable governing documents and has a professional approach. With engagement and curiosity, you have a good ability to create a positive work climate. You see and meet students' different needs based on their varying conditions. You stimulate all students to develop by documenting their results and communicating this with each student and their guardians. You also have a positive attitude, a flexible working style, good collaboration skills, and contribute to the development of the organization.
