JOB DESCRIPTION

As a teacher in the restaurant and food program's specialization in bakery and pastry, your tasks will include planning, teaching, guiding, assessing, and following up on courses in baking, pastry, hygiene, as well as chocolate and confectionery. Teaching takes place in the bakery facilities of the Restaurant and Food Program at Kungsmadskolan. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other vocational teachers in the program.

Kungsmadskolan is a municipal high school with about 1,500 students in both vocational and university preparatory programs. Here, all employees are important, regardless of their role! We work together to provide our students with a safe and inspiring study environment, where proximity between staff and students contributes to a positive development for our students.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with current baking skills, who is genuinely interested in the profession and passionate about passing on their knowledge to a new generation of bakers and pastry chefs.

We would prefer you to have a journeyman's certificate and/or a vocational teacher's degree. Previous teaching experience is an advantage.

You need to be self-driven and proactive, accustomed to juggling many tasks at once. It is important that you communicate clearly and have the ability to build good relationships with students and colleagues. You find it easy to collaborate. You are engaged and have the ability to adapt to different circumstances in your daily work. You are positive about the development of the organization and yourself.
