We operate on the eastern side of Alvesta and belong to Preschool Area Öster. Here, there are two preschools, Aringsås Preschool and Lunnagårds Preschool. We are looking for two preschool teachers for Aringsås Preschool, which is a large preschool with 10 departments. We work in Tracks with a younger, a middle, and an older children's department that collaborates.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The children's preschool is a creative arena for diversity, self-esteem, and influence.

We are looking for an engaged and curious preschool teacher. Our operations are based on a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, where we work process-oriented and in projects, with children's perspectives, hypotheses, and exploration at the center. We work with democracy and a democratic approach, where children's voices and influence are an obvious part of education.

As a preschool teacher with us, you will work in a group of children based on the preschool's governing documents and are expected to drive and participate in the responsibility for developing our systematic quality work, together with colleagues in the unit. Through a co-researching approach, you capture children's voices, thoughts, and experiences and allow them to be an active part of the learning.

You are a responsive, present, and challenging educator who can focus, inspire, and deepen children's learning processes. You consciously use the educational environment and materials as part of teaching - the third educator - and see pedagogical documentation as an important tool for reflection, analysis, and development.

We work in teams in the departments and organize education for younger, middle, and older children in Tracks. Together across the entire preschool, we develop our operations based on the unit's vision: The children's preschool - a creative arena for diversity, self-esteem, and influence. Our learning environments are rich, accessible, and language-developing, focusing on the hundred languages. Here, you are given the opportunity for participation and influence through meetings in various groups where we collectively discuss the mission, children's learning processes, and current research.

We are looking for someone who is structured, creative, and relationship-building.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preschool teacher degree with certification.
