Job Responsibilities

The position consists of mother tongue teaching and study guidance. Interpretation assignments may also occur.

As a mother tongue teacher, you will follow the curriculum in the subject of mother tongue, write assessments, and assign grades. Teaching takes place in age-heterogeneous groups, which requires you to adapt the instruction to the students' different needs.

In the role of study guide, you will collaborate with mentors and class teachers to support newly arrived and multilingual students in their schoolwork. You will create good relationships with students and guardians and act as a link between home and school.

Teaching is conducted in several of the municipality's school units, which means travel between schools.

Qualifications

• Teaching certification is an advantage
• Pedagogical experience working with children and youth is an advantage

Employment

The position comprises 25% and is a fixed-term employment with the possibility of extension. Start date by agreement.
