Haganässkolan is located in Älmhult in Småland, just near the border to Skåne. We have about 1150 students and offer a variety of programs including university preparatory and vocational programs, introductory programs, IB programs, SFI, adult education, and adapted upper secondary school.

Haganässkolan is more than just a school. We have both a gym, sports facility, and swimming pool. Our goal is to provide our students with the knowledge, courage, and strength to shape and meet a better future.

Starting in the autumn of 2026, the Adult Education will be located in newly built premises next to Haganässkolan at Handelsplats Älmhult.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main responsibilities are:

• Coordinate the implementation of the education (scheduling, course planning, teachers, premises, resources)
• Drive the administrative processes of the education (documentation, reporting, follow-up, quality)
• Build and develop networks with the labor market (company contacts, guest lecturers, LIA placements)
• Support students throughout their educational journey and contribute to a good student environment
• Prepare and conduct management meetings and implement decisions in practice
• Ensure that the education remains highly relevant and develops based on industry needs

QUALIFICATIONS

You should have:

• Excellent ability to speak in front of groups and create engagement
• Documented ability to develop networks in the labor market and create long-term collaborations
• Knowledge of vocational higher education (regulations, LIA, management group, quality work)
• Administrative drive, structured, and experienced in driving processes to completion

Meritorious / should-have requirements:

• Experience teaching project management, economics, LEAN, or related areas
• Experience in educational coordination, preferably within YH or other post-secondary education
• Familiarity with working with quality systems, follow-up, and improvement work
• Industry connections to industry/production/logistics/packaging is a plus
• Certified educational leader

The role involves many points of contact and occasionally a high tempo, especially at the start of education, so you need to be flexible, stable, and able to switch between strategic thinking and operational hands-on work.
