Älghultskolan is a two-parallel middle school with about 110 students. We always focus on our students' development, learning, safety, and study environment.

Älghult is located about 35 minutes by car from Nybro, Lessebo, Braås, and Rottne.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main responsibilities are to act as a resource for students in need of special support. The job content is dynamic as we continuously adapt our resources based on needs. For example, it may involve support in the classroom or individual teaching in another location. You work independently alongside other staff and the student health team. You handle conflict situations that may arise and maintain close contact with guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a pedagogical education at least at the high school level. It is advantageous if you have relevant education and experience working with students with severe NPF challenges. You need to have a genuine interest in working with young people. You have a positive attitude, the ability to create a good working environment, and good knowledge of meeting children's various needs. Other important abilities include enjoying challenges and being responsive to changes. You are independent, have a high level of empathy, are flexible, and can adapt to different situations, and you communicate clearly and effectively. The position requires a low-arousal approach and attitude. Experience from pedagogical work with students is advantageous. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

OTHER

If you are selected for employment, the employer will request an extract from the criminal record. The municipal council has decided that all new hires must present a criminal record extract before employment. The extract to be shown is the one for work within schools or preschools.
