JOB DESCRIPTION

Preschool Bokelund is located in central Växjö where several different languages and cultures meet. Our greatest driving force is to work language-promoting with all languages in focus. You should be interested in working with the Swedish language. We believe that you thrive in an aesthetic learning environment where play, movement, and learning go hand in hand. We are looking for someone who is close to the children and contributes to their development. In this way, we want to create opportunities for children to have a real influence over the activities so that they develop into creative, engaged, curious, and secure global citizens.

We are looking for you who want to work as a preschool teacher with us at Preschool Bokelund. You see yourself as a co-researching preschool teacher who teaches and organizes activities for preschool-aged children. We value the child's multilingualism and always ensure that children can develop these abilities. We are looking for a preschool teacher who has extensive leadership experience and can lead their colleagues, a spearhead with aesthetic subjects and language as special competencies. A preschool teacher with a pedagogical perspective that combines professional pedagogy with teaching and who can make didactic choices based on the child's needs and developmental level. You base your work on the preschool curriculum, the Education Act, the anti-discrimination plan, the plan against degrading treatment, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and the municipality's core values. You are a solution-focused, flexible employee who can adapt and meet everyday challenges in ways that may differ from the original plan. You work professionally with systematic quality work, pedagogical documentation, reflection, and analysis. You need to have experience in intercultural work and be accustomed to meeting guardians who speak another language in a professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are a licensed preschool teacher. You have excellent knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Your ability to collaborate with other departments is significant. You have good knowledge of language, learning environments, and pedagogical documentation.

As a preschool teacher, together with others in the team, you are responsible for conducting the pedagogical work based on current governing documents. You actively work with children's pedagogical documentation linked to the systematic quality work of the activities together with colleagues at Bokelund Preschool. In addition to education, we see your personal qualities as very important.
