JOB DESCRIPTION

Kungsmadskolan is a municipal high school with about 1,500 students, offering both vocational and university preparatory programs.

We are now looking for an engaged vocational teacher for the Construction and Civil Engineering program with a focus on building construction - specifically woodwork.

In the role of vocational teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach core subjects while also being a mentor for our students. You will be an important part of a cohesive team where collaboration, development, and engagement are at the center.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a vocational teacher's degree and solid expertise in the area of building construction and woodwork. Knowledge of masonry and tile laying is an advantage.

You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to translate your knowledge into inspiring and pedagogical teaching.

As a person, you are proactive and flexible, seeing opportunities and adapting to the needs of the organization. You are engaged and interested in the development of students, both in terms of their knowledge and their social development. Your strength lies in building good relationships, both with students and colleagues, contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment.

Experience working in high school is an advantage, but what matters most is your personality and your ability to create trust and engagement among our youth.
