RESPONSIBILITIES

Braås and Dädesjö schools are located about 30 kilometers north of Växjö. Braås School is a K-9 school where we follow students from preschool to grade 9, with approximately 370 students enrolled. Dädesjö School is a K-3 school where we follow students from preschool to grade 3, with about 30 students.

We work to develop the student health efforts with preventive measures to promote students' learning. The student health work is carried out in close collaboration with educators to support students' development towards their goals. Proximity, accessibility, and a positive view of students characterize our student health.

At our school, everyone takes responsibility for their knowledge development, for each other, and for our shared work environment. We work for good relationships and security, which form the foundation for achieving high goal fulfillment. We have high expectations for all students and support them in how to proceed to develop in their learning.

We are now looking for a teacher in woodworking and metalworking! As a craft teacher for grades 3-9, you will plan and conduct craft education based on the curriculum. You will work to capture students' interests and create fun and challenging teaching through the method of Value-Creating Learning. It is also about documenting students' learning to enable their chances of reaching their goals. In addition to pedagogy, you will also work with active student health efforts based on a salutogenic approach to ensure that our students feel good and safe. Above all, we must never forget to find joy in our work and that we are there for the students.

Collaboration is important to us, and we actively work together in our teams. Through collaboration, all educators can contribute their expertise, allowing us to meet different students' needs for knowledge acquisition. It is therefore important that you enjoy collaborating with colleagues, students, guardians, and the school's management.

The employment rate for this position is 80-100%.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching license with qualifications to teach woodworking for grades 3-9, with a possible qualification in art. Experience is desirable. You who are studying to become a craft teacher or art teacher, or who have experience working in woodworking, may also be considered for employment. However, a teaching license with qualifications to teach the subject is required for a permanent position. We would like you to have experience with similar tasks.

You are easy to collaborate with and have experience working in teams. Personal suitability is of great importance. You have the ability to individualize and vary teaching based on students' needs. We want you to be flexible, positive, engaged, have good collaborative skills, and contribute to a good working atmosphere in the unit.

You provide all students with opportunities based on their conditions and have the ability to create structure to manage everyday life in the changing world we live in.
