JOB DESCRIPTION
Welcome to the Education Administration!
With us, you have the opportunity to make a difference for our children and students. We are responsible for about 18,000 children and students and work every day to help them develop and achieve increased goal fulfillment. We want children to enter our operations as curious, creative one-year-olds and leave us as engaged, knowledgeable, and independent 19-20-year-olds.
Torparskolan is a primary school (F-6) with an after-school program. We have about 350 students and 40 employees. Torparskolan is located close to nature with access to a lovely schoolyard and outdoor environment. The school is partially newly built and largely completely renovated.
As an employee at Torparskolan, you will be part of a process group together with two other special teachers, where you will work and follow up on students' learning and personal development while also driving our school's development journey. You will develop, be challenged, and above all, be in a constant learning environment where your knowledge becomes an important part of our forward-looking work. Together, we build a safe learning environment and support each other!
We are looking for a driven special teacher for Torparskolan. The role includes supporting students with challenges, primarily in Swedish. Together with others in our student health team, you will be an active part of developing the school alongside the principal and other staff.
You are passionate about school development and finding the best solutions for each student in the teaching situation. The role mainly consists of supporting students in their language development journey on an individual level. A significant part of the position involves teaching in small groups in Swedish, mathematics, English, and science. The work also includes observing teaching situations and thereby being able to provide teachers with support regarding accessible learning environments, responses, approaches, as well as extra adaptations and special support.
Documentation, follow-up, evaluation, and analysis are central parts of the position, as well as the establishment of action plans, pedagogical investigations, and intervention programs. The position may also include taking responsibility for conducting professional development for the staff at the school.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a special teacher and also has a teaching license in the subjects of Swedish, mathematics, English, and science.
You also have a conscious thought about your role as an educator and are a clear leader who works systematically based on applicable governing documents and a professional approach. You have the ability to create a good work climate with engagement, curiosity, and safety in the group, and you see and meet students' different needs based on their various conditions. You stimulate all students to develop, document their results, and inform students and guardians in a good way about how learning is progressing. You also have a positive attitude, a flexible working style, good collaboration skills, and contribute to the development of the operations.
Welcome with your application!
