Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization established in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with Försäkringskassan/the municipality to personnel issues concerning personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

We are now looking for you who want to work extra as a personal assistant for one or more of our members.

The working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and night with on-call or awake night shifts. Some shifts are shorter while others are full-day shifts. Weekend work is also included.

We are looking for someone interested in working with people; we prefer that you have previously worked as a personal assistant or in a similar role, but this is not a requirement. As a personal assistant, you help a person make their daily life function. This can involve assistance with hygiene, cleaning, and cooking, but also enabling the person to engage in activities they enjoy, such as going to watch a match, cycling, or dining out.

As a substitute, you are an important resource in the group and provide security if someone is sick or on vacation. For this position, it is advantageous if you are flexible with your working hours; perhaps you are studying remotely and want a job on the side, or you may have another part-time job and want to add more hours. If you are interested in working more during the summer, there is also the possibility to continue with a summer substitute position with a fixed schedule over the summer.

Our members are children and adults with different wishes and requirements for you as an assistant, so you will need to answer some questions during your application to help us match your application to the right position. For some positions, there are requirements for a driver's license, and some members may have pets at home, which could mean you may not be suitable for that particular person.
