The Role of Support Assistant with Us

In the role of Support Assistant, you provide our residents with support in all aspects of life. The goal of the service is to ensure good living conditions and enable influence and participation. Your tasks include creating social documentation and implementation plans. The working method is methodical based on agreed processes and routines, but the work also involves a great deal of freedom under responsibility.

Ambulatory Night consists of five employees who carry out services within the area of housing with special services every night. The unit is based at a centrally located office in Kungsbacka. You will also receive alarms (calls) from night staff when something happens.

As Resource Staff, you will work as a resource at our various residences and for personal assistance. The tasks consist largely of helping individuals with, for example, transfers and hygiene, but also being there as support for them in case of other needs that may arise during the night. You will sometimes be placed at a residence on short notice, so your schedule will be varied. This will be done in conversation with your unit manager, so you will have frequent contact with them. You will also work every other weekend.

Your Profile

As a person, you are curious, attentive, and positive in your approach. You can organize your tasks, are confident with social documentation, and have the ability to be flexible when the situation requires it. You are prepared to make changes on short notice as the schedule may require sudden adjustments. For us, it is a given that you want to work in a team that enjoys their work and collaborates without ego to provide the user with the best support. We see that you have a great commitment to our users and are passionate about every user's participation. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a nursing assistant education or equivalent education relevant to the target group.

It is an asset if you have:

• experience working with the target group
• knowledge and experience of working with Sign Support (Tecken som stöd)

We offer three permanent full-time positions starting according to agreement.

Within the Department of Individual and Family Care, all employees in Housing with Special Services and Support at Home are employed full-time but have the opportunity to reduce their working hours to the desired level of employment based on the needs of the operation.
