About the Assignment

I am a positive man in my 50s who previously lived an active life.

Due to illness, I am now paralyzed with some mobility, but my goal is to return – as much as possible, in my own way. I now need help with all the practical aspects of daily life: transfers, meals, hygiene, household tasks, and so on.

You will be part of the team that helps me settle back home and shape a new life, with dignity, security, and as much independence as possible.

Who Are We Looking For?

You are welcome to have previous experience working in healthcare and/or as a personal assistant.

As a person, you are attentive, stable, and have a good sense of responsibility. You are observant, can read the atmosphere, and are not afraid of physical work. You notice when I am tired, when I am ready to go, and when I need you the most – without me always having to say it outright.

What Do We Offer?

Awake night (double staffing around the clock) 70%. Practical training in tracheostomy care and gastrostomy will be provided at the hospital. Positions will be filled as we find the right assistants. The positions start as hourly employment and may then transition to fixed-term employment as long as the assistance assignment lasts with the agreed working hours. There are good bus connections near the man's residence.

In many assignments, the assistance recipient is the leader, while others have appointed a deputy leader. Assignments and roles vary depending on the business and function.

GIL's office provides support in areas such as leadership, administration, finance, HR, and training. Together, we contribute to making everyday life work for both assistance recipients and employees within the cooperative.
