Who will you be working with?

Ebba is 16 years old, she has a rare diagnosis called Rett Syndrome, and lives with her parents and younger sister in Lindome, not far from Lindome station, fifteen minutes by train from Gothenburg.

Ebba enjoys being around creative, proactive people who like to come up with ideas. She loves music and enjoys swimming. As her assistant, you will work with Ebba to train communication using an eye-controlled computer, implement training programs from a physiotherapist, and assist her with other basic needs. Ebba has mild epilepsy, needs help with feeding, and receives medication via a PEG button. You will also be Ebba's link to interaction with others in her environment and support her communication outward.

Job Scope

Ebba is looking for someone who can primarily be her assistant during the summer when she is on summer break. It is also desirable if you can step in as a substitute before the summer.

The work shifts are scheduled for daytime and evening shifts on both weekdays and weekends. Some weekdays include sleeping on-call duty, where you work until 07:30 in the morning. On weekends, you can work both day and evening shifts.
