The Role of Support Assistant with Us

In this role, you will provide support to our residents in all aspects of life.

The goal of the intervention is to provide good living conditions and enable influence and participation. We know that having fun at work is a success factor in feeling good. You will work closely with colleagues who are support assistants, support pedagogues, and unit managers.

Your tasks include establishing social documentation and implementation plans. We work based on low-arousal responses, IBIC, AAC, MI, and clarifying pedagogy. The working method is systematic based on agreed processes and routines but also involves a great deal of freedom under responsibility. In addition to colleagues, you will receive support from the HSL team and method developers in your work.

Your Profile

You have a strong commitment to our tenants and are passionate about each individual's participation. As a person, you are curious, attentive, and positive in your interactions. You can organize your tasks, are comfortable with social documentation, and have the ability to be flexible when the situation requires it. You should have a belief that AAC and clarifying pedagogy provide added value for the tenant's independence and that you enjoy being active.

For us, it is a given that you want to work in a team that enjoys working together and collaborates selflessly to provide the best support for the tenant. You need to be confident in working motivationally in collaboration with psychiatry. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a support assistant or equivalent nursing education and/or other relevant training for the target group
• has experience working in social psychiatry

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience working in housing with special services or housing support

Sandlyckans group housing is located in a quiet residential area in Kullavik and is a residence with six apartments aimed at adults with mental disabilities.

For increased collegial community and knowledge sharing, we collaborate between units with similar target group orientations. We work with resource time in the schedule, which means working at one or more units with a similar target group.

Our Offer and Additional Information

We offer a permanent full-time position or according to agreement.

You will work days, evenings, and weekends.

Within the Department for Individual & Family Care, all employees in Housing with Special Services and Support at Home are employed full-time but have the opportunity to reduce to the desired employment level based on the needs of the operation.
