The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

Lantmannavägen is a housing facility with special services for youth according to LSS.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to combine pedagogy and care to support people towards a more independent life? We are now looking for you who want to contribute with both structure, engagement, and knowledge while making a real difference.

As a support educator, you work closely with the individual and with the quality development of the operations. You work closely with the children and help create safety, structure, and predictability. A calm and stable approach is crucial, as is the ability to be attentive and adapt to each child's individual needs.

As a support educator, you provide educational, social, and practical support to individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. The goal is to strengthen the children's independence, quality of life, and participation in society based on their needs. The work is scheduled both during the day, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the operations.

Your role includes, among other things:

• Supporting the individual in daily life based on the implementation plan
• Motivating and creating structure around activities, health, and social interaction
• Collaborating with relatives, colleagues, schools, and other actors
• Documenting interventions in digital systems according to current routines
• Working based on a low-arousal approach and focusing on the individual's needs
• Personal care

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a secure and responsible person who wants to contribute to a meaningful everyday life for others. You have a pedagogical perspective and the ability to coach both users and colleagues.

We also see that you have:

• Higher vocational education as a support educator or other post-secondary education of at least 200 YH points in the field of disabilities
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Driver's license required

A criminal record extract will be requested before the employment contract is signed.
