JF Svenssons Funeral Home is the oldest funeral home in Halmstad and has many years of experience in everything related to funerals – and everything that comes with them. We support our customers throughout the entire process with security, knowledge, and care.

As an authorized funeral home, we provide the security and guarantee that our customers should expect. We also have on-call service 24/7.

What does the position require from you?

As a customer advisor and representative for JF Svenssons Funeral Home, you will have daily customer contact. With us, almost nothing is impossible - we always do our utmost to meet our customers' wishes and to meet high expectations.

What does the position mean for you?

You will handle all arrangements related to a funeral. You will also be our representative at funerals in churches and chapels as well as at burials in various cemeteries and burial sites. The position includes speaking in front of those attending the funeral/memorial service. Additionally, you will act as a civil officiant at civil funeral ceremonies.

The position involves a considerable amount of independent work consisting of customer meetings, administration, practical work, and handling the deceased. The position also involves teamwork with colleagues/partners as well as on-call duties.

This means that we work more than full-time, with evenings/nights occurring as we have on-call service around the clock.

Who are we looking for?

• We are looking for someone who wants to work with people.
• You must have great empathy, be humble, and be a good listener.
• You will be involved in pickups, and this work can often be physically demanding, so good physical condition is required.
• Must have a few years of work experience.
• Experience in customer service is an advantage.
• A valid driver's license (B) is required.
• You should be able to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• We are looking for someone who lives in Halmstad.
