Do you want a job where you make a real difference while enjoying an active and varied everyday life? We are now looking for a personal assistant for a young boy living in the countryside in a calm and nature-close environment.

You will be working with a positive and cheerful boy living in Fjärås. He has cerebral palsy and uses both a wheelchair and crutches, but is determined, active, and enjoys participating in various activities.

Nature and animals are an obvious part of his daily life, and he thrives best when he is active. Exercise is a big interest – he enjoys going to the gym, swimming, sauna, horseback riding, and cycling. A typical day may include training, various activities, and time outdoors, and four days a week he participates in daily activities.

As an assistant, you are both a support and an enabler. You help with everyday tasks, but above all, you create conditions for an active and meaningful life.

• 🍳 Cooking and household chores.

• 🏋️ Support during training and leisure activities.

• 🏊 Accompanying to swimming pools and outings.

• 💬 Assistance during meals and communication.

We are looking for someone who is:

• 🏃 Active and enjoys being on the go.

• 🚗 A driver's license, own car, and good driving experience.

• 🏊 To be a good swimmer.

• 🐾 To tolerate pets.

• 🚭 To be smoke-free.

• 📝 To be fluent in Swedish in both spoken and written form.

➡️ It is an advantage if you have experience in personal assistance or care, as well as knowledge of ergonomics, safety, or alternative communication (e.g., speech computer, picture support, and signs).

• 📅 Start date: Immediately. 

• ⏳ Contract: Hourly employment as needed, with the possibility of fixed shifts in the schedule.

• 🕒 Work shifts: Day and evening shifts as well as night shifts with on-call duty and work during weekends.
