Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a man in his 40s living in Kungsbacka

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• holds a manual B driver's license

• is smoke-free during working hours

• has experience in similar work

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience with Epilepsy

• have experience with Autism

• have experience with Angelman Syndrome

• have experience with LAB and outwardly aggressive behaviors

• are calm, methodical, and patient in your work approach

• share the client's interests

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 80%. The job involves work during daytime and nighttime. Working hours are 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00 (only active time), and the schedule is varied on both weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana
