The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services that are based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This can involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant, you will work with pedagogical, social, and practical support as well as care work in the home on a daily basis. The goal is to strengthen the residents' independence, quality of life, and participation. The home has a car that is used for activities and transportation, providing opportunities for varied tasks and social experiences.

Your role includes:

• Supporting the individual in daily life based on the implementation plan
• Motivating and creating structure around activities, health, and social interaction
• Collaborating with relatives, colleagues, and other stakeholders
• Documenting efforts in digital systems according to SoL, LSS, and HSL, including deviations and Lex Sarah
• Working with a low-arousal approach and focusing on the individual's needs
• Performing care interventions based on the user's needs
• Carrying out delegated health and medical care interventions, such as medication and insulin, after delegation from a nurse.

The placement is at Skolvägen 26, but you will also work as a resource in other units around the municipality. The work may occur within both functional support (according to LSS) and social psychiatry (according to SoL) and is scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends based on the needs of the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying have a genuine interest in working with people and a good ability to create trust and build relationships. You are secure, responsive, and have the ability to adapt your approach to different individuals' needs and circumstances.

We also see that you have:

• High school education in health and care or child and leisure
• Ability to work systematically and consistently follow routines and established working methods
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Driving license B

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience of working within LSS or similar activities
• Experience in AAC and clarifying pedagogy.
• Worked in operational systems such as LifeCare, TimeCare, or Appva
