For 25 years, Gryning has offered HVB and open care for children, adolescents, and families, emergency and foster homes, addiction care, supported apartments, interventions against honor-related violence and oppression, as well as LSS housing. We provide counseling and training and assist with placements. Gryning is owned by the municipalities in Västra Götaland through the four municipal associations.

Hagen Treatment Home

Hagen Treatment Home is located in Kullavik, 20 kilometers south of Gothenburg, and has two treatment departments; Överhuset (7 places for youth aged 14-18) and Nederhuset (6 places for children/youth aged 9-14) with operations around the clock.

We are looking for

We are now seeking a treatment secretary for Nederhuset. You will be part of a staff group consisting of a treatment administrator, three treatment secretaries, and two treatment educators, supported by an assistant unit manager and a unit manager in the leadership. The position is a permanent full-time employment. Working hours are scheduled with irregular times that include evening and weekend work. A probationary period may apply.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

What does the position entail?

As a treatment secretary, you will participate in treatment planning and perform qualified treatment work under supervision. You will document, maintain contact with clients, guardians, schools, and other important individuals in the young person's network. You will be involved and contribute to the unit's development work.

Since care and supervision are part of the work, it is important to be able to collaborate, be attentive, and flexible. Supporting the children in their daily routines is also an essential part of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with an academic degree such as a social worker, social educator, behavioral scientist, or other equivalent education. Experience in social work with children in vulnerable life situations and a good knowledge of legislation in the field is an advantage. We seek someone who can work independently and in a team, is flexible, and structured.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A driver's license is required as travel is part of the job.
