Working as a support assistant or support pedagogue within LSS in Hylte municipality is fundamentally about commitment. The work involves supporting individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities and/or intellectual disabilities in their development. The service is individually tailored, and we start from the person's needs, interests, motivation, and above all, resources. Therefore, the service varies from person to person.

We see it as a great merit if you are positive and loyal in your work, can interact with users based on their care needs, and are flexible regarding schedules, working hours, and workplaces. We prefer that you have experience from similar work. Personal suitability weighs heavily.

We are now looking for an engaged support assistant or support pedagogue who wants to combine close work with people with an active responsibility for the development of the service.

We place great importance on your ability to balance daily support with strategic thinking. We are looking for someone who:

Has a genuine user focus: You work attentively to strengthen the individual's independence and quality of life

Possesses a driving work style: You actively contribute to our joint development work and are not afraid to suggest new working methods that are discussed collectively in our operational meetings

Has a good understanding of roles: You have a good understanding of your assignment, your role in the team, and how we together achieve the organization's overall goals

You should have completed and approved education in child and leisure or nursing education, or alternatively, a KY education as a support pedagogue focused on disabilities or psychiatry. The work also involves performing delegated health and medical care interventions.

You should have knowledge of low-arousal approaches, clarifying pedagogy, sign language support, and how to work with individuals who exhibit challenging behavior.

We want you to have a B driver's license as we sometimes use a car and bus in the job, and you should be able to travel to other workplaces within Hylte municipality as needed.
