The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at various stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services that are based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This may involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

We are now looking for two support assistants for Group Home LSS Skolvägen 26, located in Kungsäter in Varberg Municipality. The positions are for night shifts.

• Position 1: Primarily placed at Skolvägen 26 with elements of resource work at other units as needed.
• Position 2: Shared placement, 50% at Skolvägen 26 and 50% allocated to resource work at other units.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a night support assistant, you work independently with pedagogical, social, and practical support as well as care work at the residence. The goal is to create security and support the residents' independence, quality of life, and participation during the night.

Your role includes, among other things:

• Supporting individuals based on the implementation plan during the night routines
• Ensuring safety and structure during the night
• Collaborating with colleagues and, if necessary, with relatives
• Documenting events and interventions in digital systems according to SoL, LSS, and HSL, including deviations and Lex Sarah
• Working based on a low-arousal approach and focusing on the individual's needs
• Performing care interventions based on the user's needs during the night
• Performing delegated health and medical care interventions, such as medication and insulin, after delegation from a nurse.

The placement is at Skolvägen 26, but you will also work as a resource at other units around the municipality within both positions. The work may occur within both functional support (according to LSS) and social psychiatry (according to SoL) and is scheduled for night shifts according to the schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying have a genuine interest in working with people and a good ability to build trust and relationships. You are secure, attentive, and can adapt your approach to different individuals' needs and circumstances.

We also see that you have:

• High school education in care and nursing or child and leisure
• The ability to work systematically and consistently follow routines and established working methods
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
• A driver's license may be required depending on the operation

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience working within LSS or similar operations
• Experience with AAC/alternative communication
• Worked in operational systems such as LifeCare, TimeCare, or Appva
