Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization established in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with the Social Insurance Agency/municipality to personnel issues concerning personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

I am a 39-year-old guy who enjoys football, music, gaming, and movies. For me, Manchester United is the football team closest to my heart. When it comes to music, metal is my primary genre. I have a neuromuscular disease that means I have reduced muscle strength throughout my body, so you as an assistant will be my “arms and legs” in everyday life.

The person I am looking for should be positive, organized, and attentive. A sense of humor and an interest in cooking are welcome. Previous experience in personal assistance is desired but not necessary. For me, the most important thing is that the chemistry works between you and me.

I live in an apartment in Halmstad. The bus connections to and from my place are very good, so you do not need a driver's license to work with me. Since I have a cat, it is important that you do not have any allergy issues.

The position is a part-time job where you will be extra staff who can step in as needed, both for desired shifts and in case of sudden absence of regular staff. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and night shifts. Start date is immediate or as agreed.

As you may come into contact with minors in your role, a police clearance certificate for work within LSS personal assistance is required, and it is an advantage if you have ordered this before a potential interview.
