Your Responsibilities

As a support pedagogue, you will provide individually adapted support together with the work team in the residents' home environments. The work is based on a pedagogical and salutogenic approach with a focus on development opportunities, participation, and clear structure. You have a specific assignment to support users in finding strategies to handle daily life, professional life, and various social contexts.

Within the operation, you will drive the pedagogical work and mentor colleagues in planning, follow-up, documentation, and goal achievement, with a focus on good treatment and a low-arousal approach. As core staff, you also play an important role in quality development and participate in developing communication methods, routines, and a common approach. The work is varied: from pedagogical support in daily life, networking, documentation, and evaluation to practical tasks in the home such as laundry, cooking, and cleaning.

In your role, you will:

· Actively drive the process regarding documentation and methods.

· Be responsible, together with contact staff, for ensuring that network meetings are held and that implementation plans are established and followed up.

· Be part of a network with other support pedagogues and the method support officer.

· Participate in the daily work of the operation.

Your Qualifications

Requirements

· Completed vocational education as a support pedagogue or another completed post-secondary education in pedagogy or behavioral science, combined with relevant professional experience.

· Class B driver's license and access to a car.

· Experience working with individuals under LSS and challenging behavior.

· Very good communication skills and good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

· Experience with documentation and basic computer skills.

· Knowledge of how to establish and follow up implementation plans, as well as experience working in LifeCare.

Merits

· Experience working as a support pedagogue under LSS with target groups with various functional variations such as autism, intellectual disability, and challenging behaviors, as well as experience working with early-onset dementia.
