We are now looking for you who want to work extra as a companion or relief worker. Working as a companion and relief worker can be combined with studies or other main occupations as working hours are usually scheduled for evenings and weekends.

What does the position entail?

As a companion, your main task is to accompany customers on activities according to their wishes. This means that you as a companion should provide support to the customer in various activities such as swimming, horseback riding, going to the movies, or having coffee. The purpose is to enable the customer's participation in society.

As a relief worker, your main task is to relieve relatives at home with children with disabilities, to give the relatives space for rest and recovery or to run errands outside the home.

We are currently looking for two companions and one relief worker. The number of approved hours varies for the customers; we are looking for one companion who can work 16 hours per month and another companion for 10 hours per month. We are also looking for someone who wants to work as a relief worker for 6 hours per month. Each session should last about 2-4 hours depending on the customer. There is no scheduled working time, but the hours are usually distributed in the evenings and weekends by agreement.

About you -

We are looking for someone who has an interest in working with other people and wants to be a support in the customer's daily life. Experience or formal education is not a requirement. Great emphasis is placed on personal chemistry, where approachability, flexibility, and care are important qualities.

Compensation is paid in the form of hourly wages. Unless otherwise agreed, 12% vacation pay and OB compensation will be added. We follow the collective agreement between Kommunal/Vårdföretagarna.
