Job Advertisement: Security Protection Coordinator

Do you have experience in security protection and want to contribute to a safer Stockholm County? Do you want to work centrally, with the pulse of Kungsgatan outside the door? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

What does the role entail?

You will primarily promote the municipalities' work with security protection in the county.

You will mainly coordinate the municipalities in the county and ensure they have a platform for development and networking in the field. Examples of tasks include managing regional networks in security protection and cybersecurity, as well as monitoring developments in security protection.

The position has mainly an external focus, which means you need to enjoy collaborating with other stakeholders. Part of the work may also have an internal focus where you will have the opportunity to support our security and security protection organization in developing the security culture within the agency.

You will work closely with the agency's security and security protection functions and regularly check in with the officials working with supervision according to the Security Protection Act.

Are you the one we are looking for?

For this role, we want you to have:

• relevant education in security protection or relevant and current experience in security protection,
• experience in collaboration,
• very good ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish.

You are motivated by taking on significant responsibility and have a pragmatic and unpretentious approach to your work. As a person, you are pedagogical, and it is easy for you to create and maintain contacts with other people.

As an employee at the County Administrative Board, you need to:

• be able to make decisions from a holistic perspective considering multiple viewpoints,
• understand that a central role for the County Administrative Board is to balance different interests,
• have the ability to prioritize and adapt to work with new tasks or in new contexts.

It is an advantage if you have:

• competence in cybersecurity,
• experience in planning and conducting training,
• experience in relevant work at a municipality, county administrative board, or other government agency.

The employment is a temporary position until February 2027. We would like you to start as soon as possible.

The position is located in the unit for community protection and preparedness, where experts in areas such as the Act on Protection Against Accidents, civil defense, crisis preparedness, and nuclear preparedness are included. In the unit, we collaborate and support each other within our respective areas. The unit manager leads with warmth and commitment and practices trust-based leadership over the unit's 15 employees.
