Are you a technically skilled and system-oriented accountant with extensive experience in qualified accounting? Have you worked in complex, international organizations with a fast pace and feel completely comfortable with Workday? Then this could be the right assignment for you.

We are now looking for a Senior Accountant for an interim assignment starting in June, with a duration of approximately seven months.

About the role

In the role of Senior Accountant, you will be involved in the overall responsibility for accounting for several Nordic companies. You have a central role in the finance function and work broadly with qualified accounting issues in a dynamic and international environment.

You will participate in monthly closings and be responsible for ongoing accounting and quality assurance of financial information. The role requires a good understanding of the K3 regulations and the ability to work structured and accurately in a business with a high transaction volume.

This is a role for you who is confident in your skills, self-driven, analytical, and technically proficient. You have a genuine interest in systems and digital solutions, as well as good knowledge and extensive experience with Workday, which you use to ensure correct accounting and support business decisions.

Location: Stockholm, flexible hybrid solution

Main responsibilities

• Ongoing accounting for Nordic companies
• Participation in monthly closings
• Reconciliations and quality assurance of balance sheets and income statements
• Management of larger transaction flows
• Contribute to the streamlining and development of routines and processes

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in qualified accounting
• Documented and extensive experience with Workday (required)
• Extensive experience in accounting within international operations
• Good knowledge of K3
• Experience from international companies with high transaction volumes
• Very good knowledge of Excel

About you

We are looking for someone who has a very good understanding of accounting and is used to working in complex and dynamic environments. You are responsible, structured, and self-driven, with previous experience as a senior accountant or equivalent, where you have handled accounting and reporting for international operations.

You are system-oriented and technically confident, with particularly strong skills in Workday. Furthermore, you are analytical, meticulous, and thrive in an environment where high pace and quality go hand in hand. You have the ability to quickly understand new processes and are eager to contribute to improvements and efficiencies.
