About the assignment

At Novare, we are a proud and approved supplier of the government framework agreement in Sweden. We are now looking for a controller for a socially important authority in Stockholm.

At the authority, you will become part of the finance department that works with controlling and financial management. You will work with controlling projects that are externally funded. This involves work with budgeting, analysis, reporting, project follow-up, and related administration.

For this role, we are looking for someone who is confident in their knowledge. You are unpretentious, attentive, and analytical. You also have a good sense of service and find it easy to collaborate with others.

The position is security classified, and you may need to undergo a background check and possible security clearance.

Requirements for the position

• high school or equivalent education
• completed education in the relevant field
• at least one (1) year of work experience as a controller
• good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
• knowledge of analytical tools (e.g., QlikView, Insikt, and Power BI)
• knowledge of financial systems (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.)
• ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• able to provide a reference from a previous similar assignment.

Assignment period and scope

The assignment is full-time, starting immediately after successful security clearance, and lasts for 6 months, with the possibility of a 12-month extension. The placement is at the authority in Stockholm, with some possibility for remote work.
