Our Workplace

Västervik Swimming Society was founded in 1924 and today conducts water safety training, swimming instruction,

training, competition participation, instructor training, and leadership development. We have about 800 members.

Our swimming school activities, Simlinjen, offer instruction in around 60 different groups with approximately 450 active children and youth. In addition, we have about 30 young people in the competitive activities who participate in multiple training sessions each week. For several years, we have also had groups for adults through a crawl school at various levels and a group for masters swimmers.

The association has been in the current swimming hall facility since 1975 and has received an additional 25-meter pool as well as renovations of the other pools.

The association uses the web-based management system KanslietOnline.

The foundation of our association is joy, sound values, and a belief that every person has a place and a purpose. Read more about us on our website http://www.vasterviksss.se/ (http://www.vasterviksss.se/).
