Your Role

Saab's regulated business is based on maintaining our certifications by having defined and approved work processes. Your future challenge will be to drive and execute work within one of Saab Aeronautics' vital development processes commonly referred to as the Apparatus Process.

Airframe & General Systems is a development department responsible for the Gripen system's hardware within structure and basic aircraft systems. The Systems Engineering Management (SEM) area is now looking for an Apparatus Process Leader with energy and passion for leading change for the greater good. We are facing an exciting time with continued development work on Gripen, while we also need to look ahead and create good conditions for the realization of future products through the adaptation and development of our working methods.

One of SEM's main tasks is to ensure the quality of the department's development work. In that work, we assist all areas within the department and oversee cross-functional flows in our development processes. This includes mapping workflows in collaboration with relevant functions, proposing action plans, and implementing them with the recipient of the results at the center. The work is carried out in collaboration with the competencies available within the organization. The process includes procurement and development of hardware from Saab Aeronautics' suppliers across all projects. It covers the flow from feasibility studies of new hardware until it is airworthy.

Your daily tasks as an Apparatus Process Leader will include:

• Actively driving assignments within business development (VU) in accordance with the department's business plan.
• Contributing to the creation and development of the Apparatus Process primarily within the department, but equally important is communication and dialogue with all stakeholders in Aeronautics.
• Being involved in developing strategic development plans for the Apparatus Process for all of Saab.
• Handling and implementing feedback from the business and authorities to improve the process.
• Providing support for managers, project leaders, and apparatus/hardware engineers, as well as continuously educating within the Apparatus Process.
• Working to ensure that we have active networks within and outside the department regarding the Apparatus Process and its change work. Coordinating parts of the department's apparatus activities within BU Gripen Design and Aeronautics.

Your Profile

We expect you to be a skilled communicator, with the ability to collaborate effectively with adjacent operations while contributing to several different development projects.

You possess a strong technical interest, preferably in mechanics, electronics, system procurement, or production, and thrive in a role where you can drive issues to resolution. English is the corporate language, but some documentation is available in Swedish, so both English and Swedish should be well mastered, both orally and in writing. Previous experience in change management and/or project and team leadership is an advantage.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenships.
