Do you have experience in financial work within municipal operations and want to support managers with analyses, advice, and the development of financial processes? Then this role might be right for you!

We are now looking for a controller for Kinda municipality, focusing on supporting a specific department in financial matters.

As a controller with us, you will have a close and central role where you contribute to ensuring that the department's financial resources are used in the best possible way. Your work is broad and varied, including everything from budget work, follow-up and analysis to reporting and development of financial routines. By working consultatively and coaching, you support managers in making well-founded financial decisions that promote the municipality's long-term goals and development.

We are looking for someone who has experience working as a controller in a municipal context and has a relevant university degree in economics. You have solid knowledge of budget processes, financial analysis, and follow-up. Experience from public operations is an advantage. With your expertise, you can coach and support managers in a way that strengthens both their financial competence and the department's results.

To thrive with us, we prefer that you have experience in change management and developing financial processes. If you also have experience with the Raindance system, that is a big plus.

We value someone who has strong relationship-building skills and can inspire and challenge managers in their financial work. You think strategically and analytically while being solution-oriented and structured. Working on several parallel tasks is something you enjoy, and you are happy to contribute both operationally and strategically to ensure that the department achieves its financial goals.
