Your Responsibilities

As a technical writer, you will be responsible for writing and editing manuals for the company's machines. The work includes creating new manuals for new machines as well as revising existing manuals. Each machine is unique, so the work of revising and adapting manuals is ongoing. Additionally, the role requires insight and engagement with the company's various departments, as well as good communication with the employees in those departments. Your understanding of the company's operations and different machines contributes to ensuring that the manuals you produce are of the right quality.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is pedagogical, structured, and curious. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English and enjoy writing long texts in both languages. You have a strong interest in technology and an understanding of how different parts and processes are interconnected. Furthermore, you are skilled at conveying this understanding to others. You need to have a relevant education, such as a technical communicator, or equivalent work experience for the position. A driver's license (B) is required.

About the Company

The company has a long history dating back to the early 1700s ironworks community. They operate in the wire drawing industry and manufacture machines that are used to produce welding wire, welding electrodes, and wire rods. The company's operations are global and they tailor high-quality components for the industry in over 90 countries worldwide.
