Your Role

At the Platform Contract Management section, part of the Project Management Office (PMO), we are a growing team of approximately 35 employees contributing project managers to projects across the Special Mission and Regional Aircraft (SMRA) department. The section currently consists of eight employees and is responsible for contract managers and lead project managers for platform projects such as Global Eye and Saab 2000 AEW&C. We are now looking for a driven lead project manager and contract manager who wants to work in an exciting, expanding, and aviation-related business characterized by a good community, where we together achieve the department's goals.

As the lead project manager and contract manager, you will lead complex and high-priority aircraft modification projects for Saab AB, such as Global Eye and Saab 2000 AEW&C. You will have overall responsibility for finances, timelines, scope, and delivery, as well as managing stakeholders, changes, and risks for the platform project. The SMRA project environment is aviation-related and characterized by close collaboration between projects and line operations, where we win and face challenges together. Your immediate project team consists of project managers for project areas that include engineers, purchasers, hangar staff, technical writers, and flight test personnel.

To create a secure introduction, we will together set an individual development plan based on your interests and previous experiences. Your project management tasks will vary in complexity and scope, where you may eventually be offered the opportunity to participate early in ongoing business campaigns.

Your Profile

You feel comfortable driving the business forward with a clear focus on results and quality.

Your leadership is crucial to ensuring the project's success, and we are looking for someone who has a passion for leading projects from start to finish.

If you have previous experience in development projects within an industrial environment or other contract management, it is a merit. To succeed in the role, you need to express yourself clearly and professionally in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
