We are a unit of about 160 employees with offices centrally located in Hisingen and Kungälv. Our area of responsibility includes Northern Gothenburg, Kungälv, Stenungsund, Ale, Lilla Edet, Orust, Tjörn, and Öckerö.

Job Description

As a Job Coach, you are an enabler and expert, a bridge between talent and need. You focus on job seekers and employers and make a difference every day by mapping competencies, identifying support needs, and matching individuals with the right job or education.

A central part of the job is to inform and communicate about the Public Employment Service's mission, services, and rights and obligations; you work professionally with authority execution.

Your employment begins with an introduction where you will be well-equipped with the skills required to take on the role of a civil servant.

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may start with a six-month probationary period. The work location is Gothenburg or Kungälv.

Basic Requirements for the Position:

• University/higher education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system)
• Alternatively, you have been employed as a job coach at the Public Employment Service and are assessed to have good prospects of meeting today's requirements for job coaches
• At least 2 years of work experience, collectively working at least 50 percent over a total of 2 years
• Good knowledge of Swedish, meaning a good ability to communicate in speech and writing, as well as high reading comprehension
• Good knowledge of English
• Driver's license (B)

Other Merits for the Position:

• Work experience with corporate contacts
• Work experience in rehabilitation
• Work experience in study guidance
• Work experience in public administration
