Description

We are now looking for a support assistant for residential support at Funktionsstöd.

The position is a permanent full-time employment (100%). You will work at the Residential Support Center and also at Våxnäs. The Residential Support Center has 44 care recipients and Residential Support Våxnäs has 33 care recipients who receive services based on SoL.

Responsibilities

In your work, you provide support and assistance based on each care recipient's needs, abilities, wishes, and interests. You work from a reflective approach and design the individual's daily life so that the content is understandable, manageable, and meaningful. You strive to develop working methods and relationships characterized by reciprocity, trust, respect, and continuity. You will work towards the goals of the organization, and the job also includes specific areas of responsibility. You will also participate in planning, developing, and following up on the operations. An important task is also documentation.

The work involves irregular scheduled working hours. Weekend work is not currently included in the schedule but may become relevant in the future.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with several years of experience and good knowledge of various disabilities and their consequences in the care recipient's daily life, as well as previous experience working with the target group within LSS, substance abuse, and mental health.

It is an advantage if you have relevant education to work in social work, such as a treatment assistant or similar.

To succeed in this role, you need to be calm and secure in yourself. You find it easy to create and maintain good relationships. The job requires you to be part of a team, take your own initiatives, and work in a structured and independent manner. In your execution, you are responsible and thorough. The work also requires you to be flexible and solution-focused in situations where conditions can change rapidly. Furthermore, we see that you are passionate about your mission and contribute to the team's development and success.

Since documentation is an important task, you must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and have good IT skills.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, where relationship-building, flexibility, and planning ability are very important qualities. Furthermore, you have a professional approach and the ability to collaborate with the individual, relatives, colleagues, and other important professionals for the work.

A driving license (B) is a requirement.

Before confirming employment, we will request a criminal record extract.
