JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a social worker for the adult group for a permanent position. With us, you will work in an engaged and development-oriented organization where collaboration, quality, and support for the individual are in focus.

As a social worker in the adult group, you will work with authority exercises in the areas of domestic violence, substance abuse, and housing. Your work includes investigating, assessing, and making decisions according to applicable legislation as well as following up on interventions to ensure the right support for the individual. You will have a particular focus on supporting individuals in vulnerable life situations and creating conditions for a safe and independent life.

In this role, you have a central collaboration function and work closely with, for example, other units of social services, healthcare, police, correctional services, women's shelters, and other relevant actors. We see collaboration as a crucial part of creating sustainable solutions for the target group.

The individual and family care, IFO, consists of a child and youth group, an adult group, a reception, elderly care, functional support, and outpatient care. You will have colleagues who work in both SoL and LSS.

You collaborate with internal and external actors. You have close support from case supervisors and unit managers and colleagues in your daily work as well as access to external supervision.

Start date according to agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker or has equivalent education. We would like you to have experience working in social services. It is desirable that you have several years of experience in authority exercises within violence, substance abuse, and housing.

The work requires a professional approach towards the residents in need of financial assistance, as well as good collaboration with various actors, both internally and externally. You work independently and plan and organize your work effectively. You collaborate well with others, are attentive in your approach, and are solution-focused. You are well acquainted and updated regarding current legislation and can express yourself well in speech and writing.

As the work may involve travel, a B driver's license is required. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and the ability to collaborate.
