Description
Welcome as our colleague! We are looking for you, a driven, committed, and relationship-building first social worker for a newly established position.
You will have a key role in the unit with the opportunity to lead, support, and develop the operations together with the unit manager, first colleagues, engaged employees, and partners. Within the unit, we organize authority exercise, outpatient care, and preventive activities, among others, in child care, harmful use and dependence, and violence in close relationships. The focus of this position is on children and young people and their families. The small municipality's opportunities mean that decision-making paths are short and the space for influence is large.
As a first social worker, you will play an important role in the municipality's transition to a more preventive, knowledge-based, and long-term sustainable social services in line with the new Social Services Act. You drive processes forward by being structured, curious, brave, and you support your group to be the same.
In Individual and Family Care, we actively work with the organizational and social work environment to provide conditions for a sustainable working life. You are offered wellness benefits and wellness hours. The workgroup has access to external supervision.
Job Responsibilities
The role and responsibility of the first social worker is to lead and distribute tasks and serve as an easily accessible support in daily work, both individually and in groups. You contribute to a good working climate in the unit and take great responsibility for the introduction of new employees. In your group, you will have colleagues who are both newer in the assignment and those who have worked with authority exercise for many years.
The work involves contributing to effective and legally secure processing, making decisions according to delegation, and may also involve investigating needs. You work to ensure that the client's own solutions and resources are utilized by collaborating with the individual, their family, and network. Your assignment includes representing the board in authority committees and administrative courts.
As a first social worker, you have a coordinating role and work for good collaboration with external and internal operations. This includes planning, monitoring the outside world, and developing as well as driving development work at the unit level but also contributing to it at the operational level. Your assignment also includes creating routines for the work.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with a degree in social work and several years of experience and high competence in the area of authority exercise in child care. We value if you have experience in leading work. As a first social worker, you need to have good initiative and the ability to structure and drive your work independently as well as support employees' structure in their work. You also need to have good collaboration skills, a desire to develop in your professional role, contribute to others' development, and be curious about broadening your experience and knowledge. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Conditions
A driver's license is a requirement.
