Are you motivated by helping youth/clients in a vulnerable life situation? Do you also enjoy organizing, leading, and planning? Apply for the position of group leader at SiS! As a group leader, you contribute to a safe and secure environment for both youth/clients and employees. In this role, you actively work in the operational care and treatment efforts on the department. You are responsible for planning, operationally leading, and distributing the daily work. You act as a role model and promote that the work is conducted legally and in accordance with applicable governing documents, methods, and set goals. You continuously keep the unit manager on your department updated on issues that may affect the work environment, care and treatment environment, or deficiencies in the operation. Introduction and guidance of new employees are also part of your work. You are part of a team with a unit manager and treatment secretary, and you will have close collaboration to achieve good results together.

As a Group Leader at Saltus

you have a clear operational responsibility for the structure and flow of everyday life. You plan weeks and weekends and distribute the work within the staff group. You also ensure that routines, rules, and practical aspects of the youth's planning actually work in practice. As a group leader, you take responsibility for our youth and focus on creating order, direction, and a functioning everyday life.

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed in the role of group leader, you are motivated to work with and help people in a vulnerable life situation. The operational work and meeting with youth/clients is your main focus. You are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work effectively and are clear in your communication with others. At the same time, you are attentive and affirming in your interactions with youth/clients and colleagues and good at building relationships. You have a professional approach and a good ability to collaborate and to understand others' perspectives. The work can sometimes be challenging and requires you to be stable and maintain calm even in stressful situations.

You should also have:

Relevant university degree with a focus on social sciences, healthcare, or behavioral sciences, or other education combined with work experience that SiS considers equivalent.
Several years of meritorious work experience within SiS or another organization focused on care, treatment, and safety, such as social services, healthcare and treatment, correctional services, or other relevant operations.
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both written and spoken.

Employment:

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement.
