We are currently looking for you who want to be part of our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant for our male client in Arvika.What does this position entail?

We are now seeking hourly substitutes and summer substitutes for our client, a man in his 50s. Working hours are during the day, between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM, both weekdays and weekends.

The client lives with a CP injury and is wheelchair-bound. As a personal assistant, you will support him in daily activities such as feeding, transfers, personal hygiene, dressing, and other care tasks. He does not communicate verbally but expresses needs and wishes through body language, which means you need to be attentive and observant.

The work takes place both at home and outside. The client lives with his family in Arvika. Some days you will accompany him to medical appointments or various activities, making the work varied and meaningful.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We prefer that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

We would like you to:

  • have a genuine interest in helping others.

  • can understand and make yourself understood in Swedish.

  • be physically strong.

  • have experience in care and support.

  • have a B driver's license (an advantage, not a requirement).

Additional Information

Employment type: Hourly employment

Scope: Work shifts are booked as needed, with the possibility to work according to a schedule during the summer of 2026

Working hours: 12 PM - 6 PM (both weekdays and weekends)

Start date: Immediately

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
