A Job Close to Life and Death

As a customer advisor/representative, you build trust and confidence with our customers and are the guide in a time that for many is filled with sorrow and uncertainty. Working with funerals is varied, eventful, and requires a good understanding of people's different needs. You take overall responsibility for planning and adapting the ceremony according to the customer's needs and wishes while always having the support of colleagues who are close at hand. Some of the tasks include:

• Meeting relatives and providing advice on planning and conducting the funeral ceremony, including choosing the type of ceremony, coffins, urns, and other details
• Preparing cost estimates, handling invoicing, and payments
• Coordinating and contacting external suppliers such as flower shops, congregations, faith communities, and authorities
• Acting as a representative in churches, chapels, and other gathering places in connection with ceremonies
• Handling the deceased during personal farewells and preparing for the ceremony
• Providing support and practical guidance to relatives throughout the entire funeral process, from the first meeting to subsequent follow-up.

For our customer area in western Sweden with offices in Grums, Säffle, Åmål, Bengtsfors, Mellerud, Vänersborg, Trollhättan, Uddevalla, and Lysekil, we are looking for a colleague who will be based at our office in Säffle. Within the customer area, we work as a team and help each other, which means you will have the opportunity to work throughout the entire customer area.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon. Fonus applies a 6-month probationary period.

What You Bring

• Experience in service and/or sales
• Experience working with a customer focus
• Good administrative skills and familiarity with various business systems as well as the Office suite
• Have a B driver's license and access to your own car

We consider it a merit if you also:

• Have experience managing social media
• Speak multiple languages
• Have experience in our or related fields
• Have experience working with different cultures
