In Arvika, we have our seventeen-year-old client who has a burning interest in theme songs on YouTube, preferably in several different languages, board games, and painting.

We are looking for a creative and proactive assistant who wants to work 44 hours on a scheduled basis each month and additionally step in as a substitute when needed.

Our client:

She has her own entrance and living area in a house in Arvika and spends her days at school where the personal assistant participates. She has a multi-functional disability that means you will assist her with her daily living needs, and food is provided via a feeding tube. Your communication will be through her sounds and yes/no answers to direct questions. After school, you will train her in standing exercises among other activities.

When the weekend comes, she enjoys taking walks, looking at different things, and when the opportunity arises, blowing bubbles in abundance.

Her mother Camilla describes her daughter as “the most positive person I know. She wakes up with a smile on her face every day!”

You who are applying:

We are looking for an initiative-taking, proactive, and creative woman who genuinely enjoys coming up with activities. We envision a woman who is active, who does not sit still, and who finds it more interesting to engage herself and the client than to relax. You have a good command of Swedish, which will facilitate your communication with the client. You probably have another job or studies on the side that can be combined with this work. We believe you already have some experience in the profession and thus have a basic understanding of what the role entails.

Working hours:

08-16, 16-22, 22-08
Scheduled shifts of about 75%

Other:

We have a collective agreement and individual salary setting as well as wellness benefits of up to 4000 SEK/year.
