Personal Assistant Wanted

I am a 20-year-old woman currently seeking a reliable and engaged personal assistant who wants to support me in my daily life.

I love being active and feel good from calm walks, preferably in the woods, and going on car trips. I live in my own apartment during weekends, holidays, and public holidays, and I need support both at home and in my daily activities.

I attend daily activities on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, where I have my own assistants. It is important for me to feel security and continuity. I find it difficult to accept new people and do not thrive when individuals come and go. Therefore, I am looking for someone who wants to build a long-term relationship with me – someone who has patience, understanding, and a genuine interest in getting to know me for real.

I do not have my own spoken language, live with epilepsy, and am autistic. This means it takes time for me to build trust, but once we get to know each other, you will have a meaningful and rewarding job – perhaps the best job in the world.

Role and Experience of the Assistant

You who are applying for the position need to have a secure and stable foundation within yourself, as well as being a calm, attentive, and empathetic person. This is crucial to meet our client with respect, understanding, and in a way that creates security in everyday life.

Experience working with individuals who have autism and epilepsy is meritorious, as is knowledge of low-arousal approaches. If you have also worked with visual support before, it is a big plus, as it facilitates communication and strengthens interaction in daily work.

Work Shifts and Meritorious Experiences

• Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement.
• B driver's license is meritorious.
• Experience with autism is meritorious.
• Experience with epilepsy is meritorious.
• Experience with low-arousal approaches is meritorious.

Working Hours/Employment Degree

• On an hourly basis – extra as needed.
• During the summer months, summer vacancies to cover for regular assistants' vacations.
• Work shifts are scheduled on both weekdays and weekends, assistance is active time around the clock.
• Some double assistance occurs.
• Also extra on public holidays.
