Personal Assistant Wanted

I am a social and active woman in my 40s looking for someone to become my personal assistant. For me, communication, participation, and security are central – and I am looking for someone who wants to help create a functional and meaningful everyday life together with me.

About Me

My days include both excitement and calm. I ride regularly and have a dog who means a lot to me. I use a wheelchair and communicate with the help of an eye-controlled computer (Tobii Dynavox), which makes the right support in daily life crucial for me to express myself and continue to develop my communication. I also have a PEG, which means that food and nutrition are sometimes given via a tube – this is a natural part of my everyday life.

A Typical Workday

You will be by my side during both everyday and more active moments. The tasks may include:

• providing support in daily routines such as meals, transfers, and personal care
• assisting me in my communication and use of Tobii Dynavox
• accompanying me on horseback riding, outings, trips, and other social contexts
• working in various environments, such as my home, with my family, at work, or during activities
• assisting with practical tasks and manual lifts as needed

Who Do I Think You Are?

You are a secure, attentive, and flexible person who enjoys working closely with another person. You:

• speak and write Swedish fluently
• are comfortable with technology and computers
• are non-smoker and not allergic to pets
• have a driver's license and access to a car

It is a plus if you have experience in personal assistance, alternative communication, or PEG, but it is not a requirement – the most important thing is that you are engaged, willing to learn, and that we enjoy working together.

About the Position

• Scope: approximately 20–25 hours per week, with the possibility of extra shifts
• Working hours: varied, day, evening, night, and weekend shifts may occur
• You will receive a paid introduction to feel secure in your role
• One trip per year of 1–2 weeks may occur, and I would like you to accompany me
