We are now looking for substitutes as treatment staff at Nytida Gylleby treatment home in Sunne for upcoming summer vacancies. We offer a rewarding workplace, continuing education, several benefits, and a developing job where you make a difference.
About us
Nytida Gylleby treatment home operates under the HVB permit and we provide treatment and care for women and men over 21 years old with mental diagnoses, substance abuse, and/or co-occurring disorders. The treatment home has two units with a total of 38 care places; a larger unit with 28 places and a smaller unit with 10 places. Placements are made in collaboration with caseworkers from various authorities such as social services, correctional services, or the region. We accept placements according to SOL, HSL, LPT, and LRV (during leave or outpatient care), §27 LVM, as well as through contractual care or care stays according to the penal code/prison law.
The methods used in treatment work, in addition to medical and CBT therapeutic treatment, include relapse prevention, ESL, ADL training, etc. Our goal is to help provide each person with the individual tools and strategies they need to live a meaningful life.
Among our staff, there are various competencies and extensive experience in working with mental health issues, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. Our working hours are scheduled for daytime, evening, weekends, and night.
About the role
At Nytida Gylleby, you will meet people with different needs for support and care. The work involves supporting and motivating adults with mental diagnoses, psychosocial issues, criminal backgrounds, substance abuse, or a combination of these towards a better life. As a substitute with us, you will also support the treatment work, and documentation is a natural part of the job. Together with the clients, we engage in activities such as cooking, cleaning, going on outings, exercising, conversing, motivating, and much more. You also want to get to know, understand, and create a good professional relationship with those who need our support and truly make a difference.
Your experience and knowledge
You who apply to us need to:
… be attracted to a varied job and have an interest in psychiatric care and social work.
... have the desire to get to know, understand, and create good professional relationships with people in different life situations.
… be a secure, attentive, and present person who dares to take responsibility.
… enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues.
We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant, treatment assistant, or equivalent, or have experience working in care and support, psychiatry, and/or substance abuse treatment previously. However, this is not a requirement for substitutes, as we place great importance on personal suitability, interest, and maturity in addition to education.
You share your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues and see it as natural to contribute to a positive work climate. Additionally, you have a driver's license, good computer skills, and good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
You also need to be able to submit 2 different police record extracts where convictions from the past 5 years are taken into account.
