RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an engaged social worker for the adult group within economic assistance for a permanent position.

As a social worker for economic assistance in the adult group, you will work on investigating and following up cases concerning the work towards self-sufficiency and economic assistance. Your focus in the work will be to support clients towards self-sufficiency and an independent life.

We are in a development process and are looking for someone who wants to contribute with new ideas and engagement in the work of developing new ways of working. You thrive in an organization with a focus on quality and development and appreciate collaboration both internally and with external actors.

The Individual and Family Care (IFO) consists of a child and youth group, an adult group, a reception center, elderly care, functional support, and outpatient care. You will have colleagues working within both the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS).

You collaborate with internal and external actors. You have close support from case supervisors, the unit manager, and colleagues in your daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have experience working with economic assistance. You are an educated social worker or have another equivalent academic degree. Experience from the social services is an asset.

The work requires a professional approach towards the municipal residents in need of economic assistance, but also good collaboration with various actors, both internally and externally. You work independently and plan and organize your work in an efficient manner. You collaborate well with other people, are attentive in your approach, and solution-focused. You are well-acquainted and up-to-date regarding current legislation and can express yourself well in speech and writing.

Since the work may involve travel on duty, a B-class driver's license is required.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability and the ability to collaborate.
