Description

Are you interested in working in care and support this summer with us at Storfors Municipality? We are looking for individuals who are interested in working during the summer in support for people with disabilities.

We offer a varied job where you help people in their daily lives and leisure activities. We need summer substitutes between weeks 25-32, possibly longer. Introduction will take place before the substitute position starts.

Units we have within support for people with disabilities include:

• Residential care
• Leisure activities
• Personal assistance
• Housing support

Job Responsibilities

The work as a personal assistant involves helping individuals with personal hygiene and home maintenance, including wood heating and lawn mowing, where applicable. The day is structured together with the individual who is motivated to become involved in their own life and leisure.

Some units may also include tasks involving healthcare interventions delegated by a nurse.

As a housing supporter, you assist the individual with structure in their own home.

Documentation is a requirement of the job and is done digitally.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with healthcare education or experience in care work or other experience that the employer deems relevant. You must be at least 18 years old and have a good command of the Swedish language to communicate with clients and colleagues and to document as required by the organization. A B driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are advantageous for commuting to/from the workplace, which may be located in rural areas. Basic computer skills are also required.

Personal suitability will be given great importance. To fit the job, we see that you are social, attentive, able to work independently and in a team. You should have the client's needs at the center and maintain a professional demeanor towards clients, relatives, and colleagues.

Other Information

The work is scheduled for day/evening/night/night duty within personal assistance, as well as weekends. Interviews and hiring will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
