We have about 350 colleagues in the Department of Education and Childcare, working within four school areas with children and students aged 1-16 years. We work to ensure that all children and young people have a good learning environment where they feel safe and are given the opportunity to achieve good results. Welcome to one of our four school areas: Lärcenter, Skived, Ullerud, and Grossbol.
Description
We are now starting a time-limited project to strengthen students' attendance and well-being.
As a social pedagogue in the project, you will play a key role in the health-promoting and preventive work with students from the early grades up to grade 9.
Your focus will be on building trusting relationships and identifying risk factors at an early stage. Through motivational conversations and close collaboration with both the school and home, you will help students find their way back to a functioning school life.
Responsibilities
- Outreach work: Actively follow up on absenteeism and support students at risk of social exclusion.
- Support and motivation: Conduct motivational conversations with students in difficult life situations.
- Collaboration: Maintain close dialogue with guardians, student health, and external actors.
- Safety work: Participate in the school's systematic safety and equality work to counteract conflicts and social issues.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree as a social pedagogue or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
As a person, you have the ability to create safe and sustainable relationships with children and young people.
You are comfortable working independently and taking your own initiatives in a changing environment.
You have a solution-focused and inclusive approach.
You understand the importance of equality for students' achievement and safety.
