We are looking for substitutes for our clients in Karlstad, Forshaga, and Kil. During the summer, there is an opportunity for a fixed schedule, and at other times of the year, you will step in as a substitute when other assistants are on leave or sick. Since it often takes a long time to learn the job, we want you to view the work as a substitute as long-term; you may be studying or have a part-time job with the possibility to work extra.

We are looking for someone with a strong interest and commitment to working with people who need extra help and support in their daily lives. You are proactive and can easily adapt to different circumstances. It is important that you enjoy having fun and have a twinkle in your eye! We want you to have experience working with people in various situations, preferably within care.

The job involves assisting the person entitled to assistance in their daily life with everything from personal hygiene, meal intake, and household chores to finding fun activities.

The employment is a hourly position where you work when regular assistants are on leave or sick. This means that sometimes there is work at short notice and sometimes with a little longer notice. In some cases, there may also be an opportunity for a fixed schedule with a few shifts per week. As a substitute, you are employed by a specific client, and before you start working, you will receive a thorough introduction.

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, nights (both on-call and active time occur), and weekends.

It is a requirement that you are smoke-free. Our clients regularly swim in swimming pools, which means you cannot be allergic to chlorine. Since many of our clients have difficulties with communication, we want you to have good knowledge of Swedish. It is an advantage if you have a driver’s license; please indicate this in your application.
