We are looking for more personal assistants for our client in Karlstad

Who am I?

I am a woman in my early 50s living with my husband in the western parts of Karlstad. I also meet my children and grandchildren occasionally.

In my free time, I enjoy going for walks, visiting Bergvik for shopping, crafting at home, as well as cooking and baking. I also go swimming sometimes.

What I need help with from my assistants is personal and medical care, support with activities and household chores, as well as help with my medication schedule.

Assistive devices include a walker.

This is what a day with me can look like:

When you arrive in the morning, you will assist me with my morning routines such as getting dressed, taking my medications, and having breakfast. Depending on how I feel that day, we can see what I would like to do. Sometimes we might go to Bergvik or the city for a coffee, perhaps go for a walk in the area, or cook a nice lunch at home. During the day, you will also help me with personal care.

Who are you?

For this position, I only wish to receive applications from female candidates. It is important that you are responsible, motivating in your work approach, and attentive to my needs. Experience in personal assistance or other caregiving work is a big plus as medication management is involved. Accompanying me to swim is also part of your role as an assistant.

It is also important that you have a good command of the Swedish language.

You applying for this position should not be allergic to pets as they are present in my vicinity from time to time.

A driver's license is desirable.

About the position:

The position is scheduled for all hours of the day. You will work day/evening and evening/night shifts with on-call time, both weekdays and weekends.

During the interview, you will need to show an extract from the criminal record as well as documentation that proves your right to work in Sweden (passport, national ID, or personal certificate with driver's license).

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, a work permit or permanent residence permit is required.
